Terms & Conditions - Bookyourbus


These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings made with Bookyourbus. By confirming a booking whether in writing or verbally and providing a deposit  the reservation is finalised and legally binding. The deposit is non-refundable, except in specific circumstances outlined below.


BOOKYOURBUS it's agents, employees and subsidiaries are not liable for any losses incurred by customers due to accidents or traffic delays. Such matters are the responsibility of the group leader, passengers and the driver. Any dispute arising from these circumstances will be between the group leader the travelling passengers and the driver. Passengers are required to remain seated while the vehicle is in motion.


No individual is authorized to make any representations or warranties, either express or implied on behalf of BOOKYOUBUS regarding any booking. 


BOOKYOURBUS reserves the right to:


To modify or cancel any booking: BOOKOURBUS may cancel, suspend, alter or withdraw any booked service (travel, transport) if unforeseen circumstances prevent fulfilment, In such cases a full refund of payments made for the affected service will be issued. Reasonable notice will be provided.  Example of such circumstances include but are not limited to vehicle breakdowns, driver unavailability and other unforeseen events. BOOKYOURBUS will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements but is not obliged to cover additional costs incurred, whether arranged by BOOKYOURBUS or the customer.


Customers are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle or its fittings by any member of their party, whether intentional or negligent. The cost of repairs as well as any resulting losses or downtime for the vehicle will be the responsibility of the customer, who will be invoiced directly by BOOKYOURBUS or the  contracted company. 


BOOKYOURBUS or the contracted company may pursue legal action against the responsible party for any costs and expenses incurred. As a booking agent, BOOKYOURBUS and its subsidiaries are not responsible for vehicle damage caused by passengers.


Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the customer is responsible for resolving and paying any charges, criminal damage claims or compensation directly with the contractor (driver). BOOKYOURBUS will cooperate with all relevant parties and provide reasonable assistance where appropriate. Photographic evidence may be required to support any claims or investigation.


BOOKYOURBUS will determine the route on which the journey  will be taken unless a specific route is requested by the customer. if the customer requests a route deviation which increases the mileage or travel time, the customer will be responsible for the additional cost incurred.


A non-refundable deposit of £40 or 10% of the total booking if £400.00 or over is required to confirm a reservation unless otherwise specified.  Full payment is required 7 to 14 days before departure date. If booked less than 14 to 7 days before departure full payment is required.


Cancellation Policy:

. The deposit is non-refundable once the booking has been confirmed and payment has been received.

. Cancellations made  more than 14 days before the trip date will incur a 40% cancellation fee.

. Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before the trip will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

. Cancellations made between 48 hours and 7 days before the trip will incur a 75% cancellation fee.

. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the trip will be charged the full booking amount.

. No refunds will be issued once the customer has boarded the vehicle.

Please note:

Cancellation fees are calculated based on the total booking value unless otherwise stated.


Subcontracting

BOOKYOURBUS acts as the principal provider of transport services and may subcontract all or part of the services to approved third-party operators when necessary.

All subcontracted operators and drivers are fully insured, appropriately licensed and experienced in providing passenger transport services.

BOOKYOURBUS reserves the right to provide a vehicle that differs in size from the one originally booked, whether larger or smaller, provided it can safely and comfortably accommodate the total number of passengers.

Customers are not permitted to sublet, lend, assign or otherwise transfer the use of any vehicle supplied by BOOKYOURBUS without the company's prior written consent.


Vehicle Substitution

BOOKYOURBUS will not be hold responsible for vehicle substitutions made by third-party subcontractors. In the event the third-party subcontractors vehicle becomes unavailable, alternative transportation arrangements including taxis or other suitable transport services may be provided where necessary by the third-party subcontractor. By making a reservation you acknowledge and accept this policy. BOOKYOURBUS will not be liable for any claims, losses or damages arising from the provision of a substitute vehicle or alternative transport service, except where required by applicable law.


Driver Authority

The driver is responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle and has the final authority regarding passenger admission and the continuation of the journey.

The driver may require any passenger to leave the vehicle if their behaviour is considered disruptive, unsafe, abusive or likely to endanger the comfort, safety or wellbeing of the other passengers, the driver or the vehicle.

The driver reserves the right to refuse carriage to any individual whose conduce is deemed unacceptable to poses a safety risk. No refund will be issued due to passenger's behaviour.

BOOKYOURBUS shall not be held liable for any loss, expense, delay, inconvenience or damages arising from actions reasonably taken by the driver in the interest of safety, security or compliance with legal obligations.


Prohibited Items and Activities

Animals (except guide dogs), alcoholic beverages (unless previously agreed), smoking, vaping and fast food are strictly prohibited in BOOKYOURBUS vehicles or any subcontracted vehicles.


Luggage

Passengers are responsible for ensuring their luggage is loaded and unloaded safely, although the driver will assist where possible.

BOOKYOUBUS is not liable for loss, stolen or damaged luggage. A driver mat refuse passengers who bring luggage or items that are too large for the vehicle.

Suitcases and other heavy objects should be stored in designated luggage compartments. Nothing should obstruct gangways or emergency exits.

Where necessary a different coach or vehicle may return a party from a destination than one used for the outward journey. Vehicles may also be used for other assignments while waiting at a destination unless the hirer has specifically requested in advance that the vehicle remain with their party, in which case an additional charge may apply.


Waiting Time

Please ensure that all passengers are prepared for collection or pickup at the d

indicated and agreed-upon time. A waiting time of more than 15 minutes mat result in additional charges.


Lost Items

BOOKYOURBUS is not responsible for items that are lost, stolen or damaged while on board a vehicle.

Drivers may assist with luggage where necessary; however passengers remain responsible for ensuring that luggage is loaded and unloaded safely.

BOOKYOUBUS shall not be held liable for the safety or condition of luggage, personal belongings or any items left behind on a vehicle.


Boarding and Alighting

BOOKYOURBUS and it's drivers will make every reasonable effort to pick up and drop off passengers at a safe and suitable location. How ever passengers are responsible for exercising due care when boarding and alighting from the vehicle.

To the full extent permitted by law, BOOKYOURBUS shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage sustained while boarding or alighting the vehicle, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.


Seatbelts and Passenger Safety

Passengers must wear seatbelts at all times when they are provided and where required by applicable aw. Failure to wear a seatbelt may affect a passenger's entitlement to claim compensation for injuries sustained in the event of a road traffic accident.

The driver has full authority over the operation of the vehicle and is responsible for ensuring the safety of passenger's. If the driver reasonably believes the safety of passenger's the vehicle or other road users may be compromised they may take action deemed necessary and appropriate to maintain safety and comply with legal requirement's.

Passenger's are expected to follow all reasonable instructions given by the driver. Failure to do so mat result in the suspension or termination of the journey without refund where justified be safety concerns.


Parking and Toll Fees

Any costs of Parking fees, Toll fees Ferry Tolls or Bridge Tolls are the responsibility of the hirer. These fees will be added to the final balance of the journey if known other wise the customer shall pay at time of needed.


Inaccurate Information

Customers are responsible for  ensuring that all booking information provided to BOOKYOURBUS is accurate and complete. Any errors, omissions or changes to the booking details must be reported to us as soon as possible.

Failure to notify BOOKYOURBUS promptly of inaccurate or updated information may result in delays, missed pickups the dispatch of an unsuitable vehicle or other services-related issues. BOOKYOURBUS cannot be held liable for any loss, inconvenience or incomplete information provided by the customer.


Booking Errors

Customers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of booking details, including dates and times (using the 24-hour format). BOOKYOURBUS is not responsible for errors made by the customer.

For example, if a booking is required for 17.00 (5.00pm) and the customer enters 05.00 instead BOOKYOURBUS will not be responsible for any resulting issues and no refund will be issued in such circumstances.


Notifications

Without prior written consent from BOOKYOUBUS no bill, posters, advertisements or notice may be placed on any vehicle.


Transfer Time Changes

Changes to pre-booked transfer times may incur additional fees. This is due to the possibility that other jobs may already be scheduled during the day, which could disrupt the existing schedule.


Airport Pickups

For airport transfers, customers may request a pickup time later than the scheduled flight arrival time, however such requests are made entirely at the customer's own risk.

BOOKYOURBUS will not be liable for any delays, missed connections, additional expenses or other consequences resulting from a customer-request delayed pickup time. Customers are encouraged to allow sufficient time for immigration, baggage collection, customs clearance and any other airport procedures when selecting their pickup time.


Trailers

Trailers must be requested and paid for at the time of booking. In most cases we will inform you if this is necessary.


Child Seats

BOOKYOURBUS do not provide car seats. If child car seats are required this must be made aware at time of booking as you will need to provide them yourself.


Driver Information

Driver details will typically be provided 1-2 days prior to the trip. Customers should contact BOOKYOURBUS if they have not received driver information by then.

Please do not hesitate to contact us at any time.


''No Show'' Policy

If the passenger fails to meet the driver at the agreed-upon pick-up location within one hour of the scheduled arrival time and fails to communicate their status, it will be considered a ''no-show''. After the flight has landed the driver will wait one hour. If the passenger does not meet the driver within this time frame or does not call, email or text the driver to provide an update regarding their status at the airport or seaport, the booking will be treated as a ''no-show''. Prepaid bookings are non-refundable in the event of a ''np-show''. In the case of a ''no-show'' all credit or debit card bookings will be non-refundable.


Passenger Conduct

If you are late and our driver is running late for other assignments and we are unable to make alternate arrangements, the driver may leave without refund. Passengers are expected to maintain appropriate behaviour and keep the vehicle clean. Damage to the vehicle will be charged to the responsible party, The driver may terminate the journey if passenger behaviour is deemed unsafe, You will have to make your own arrangements. You will not receive a refund.


Force Majeure

BOOKYOURBUS is not liable for delays or failures caused by unforeseen circumstances, including vehicle breakdowns, traffic delays, severe weather, road closures or similar events, including delays resulting from previous assignments.

Your travel or holiday insurance may cover such incidents: please consult your travel provider.

BOOKYOURBUS shall not be responsible for any losses, refunds, missed flight, missed tours, missed events or alternative transportation arrangements arising from such delays.


Payment

To secure your booking and reserve your vehicle a deposit payment is required and must be paid in advance. The remaining balance must be paid 7 to 14 days prior to pickup. Customers are also welcome to pay the full booking amount at the time of reservation.


Variations

Any variations from the agreed booking details may result in additional charges.


Acceptance of Terms

By making a deposit or full payment you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by BOOKYOURBUS's Terms and Conditions.
